Isiah Thomas holds up Crying Jordan to celebrate Hoosiers’ win over Tar Heels

Not to be outdone, Rick Mahorn stomps on the Boston leprechaun in TD Garden. Bad Boys will be boys.

It was a great day for historic rivalries, especially for a couple former Bad Boys.

The Detroit Pistons have won four of their past five games, most recently scoring a season-high 121 points over the hated Boston Celtics in Boston.

The Indiana Hoosiers beat the No. 3-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels 76-67 in front of a raucous crowd at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.

Who better to celebrate these historic feats than two official Detroit Bad Boys -- Rick Mahorn and Isiah Thomas.

Mahorn, noted Celtics hater from the days of intense rivalry between Boston and Detroit in the 80s took great joy in stepping on the Boston mascot’s face at center court of TD Garden.

Not to be outdone, after his alma mater’s thrilling victory over the Tar Heels, former Hoosier hoisted up a giant Crying Jordan placard like he was raising another Larry O’Brien trophy.

I think we need to take a closer look at Thomas holding up the predominant Internet meme of a former Tar Heel who also happened to keep Zeke from the original Dream Team and an Olympic gold medal.
