After spending all but two of the previous games inactive, Jodie Meeks returned to the bench in uniform on Saturday night against the Philadelphia 76ers. He did not play (DNP - coach's decision).
Although he did not play, it was a welcome sight to see Meeks on the bench in warm ups, and it's only a matter of time before he starts getting minutes again. Meeks has been practicing close to, if not at, full strength for a little over a week.
Meeks is coming back from a Jones fracture, a broken fifth metatarsal in his foot, which he suffered in the second game of the season against the Utah Jazz. Meeks was originally looking like he might be back shortly after the All-Star break, but he suffered a bit of a setback. All appears good now and Pistons fans should be excited about that as the team makes a push for the playoffs, exactly as we anticipated when we first learned Meeks would miss 12-16 weeks.
When do you think Meeks starts seeing minutes again?
Now your thoughts.
