With their 88-82 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers' loss to the Chicago Bulls, the Detroit Pistons passed the Pacers and into the No. 7 seed in the NBA playoffs. Don't get too excited, though, because the Pistons have merely played (and won) an extra game and the Pacers have the tiebreaker between the two teams, so the Pacers could be back in the No. 7 spot by Friday morning. The Pistons will need to go a full game ahead of the Pacers if they want to stay in the No. 7.
But let's still appreciate the beauty of the following NBA playoff picture:

PISTONS.
PISTONS.
PISTONS.
Just. win. baby. But also root for the 76ers, Cavs*, Kings, Warriors and Suns.
*I realize Cavs wins and losses could have No. 1 vs. No. 2 seed implications and thus affect who the Pistons play in the first round if they wind up where they are most likely, No. 8 or No. 7, but I'm not worrying myself with those brain-twisting details at this time; I'm rooting for Pistons wins and anyone mathematically still in their way to lose. You're free to go beyond that in the comments.
Now your thoughts.
