After a few nights of being back in the NBA playoffs picture, a bad loss on Saturday night in New York coinciding with the return of Jimmy Butler and a Bulls win has the Pistons back on the outside. Here's a screenshot of the current look at the Eastern Conference standings:

The Pistons play on Sunday at home vs. the Blazers and then hit the road for four before an all-important nine-game homestand.
I personally feel like the Pistons will find a way to sneak in, but losses like Saturday night's don't do a whole lot for the optimism, putting another bug in the fresh cup of Kool-aid.
