According to Cavaliers beat writer Chris Haynes, the NBA has announced that Andre Drummond will not be penalized for striking LeBron James with an elbow over the course of the Pistons' Game 3 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This means that Dre will be available to play in Detroit's deciding Game 4, and with Reggie Jackson optimistic of Motown's chances to make history, he could be the difference needed to force a Game 5 in Cleveland.
However, not everyone was happy with the League's decision with LeBron taking exception to the decision, seemingly denouncing the NBA for ruling against his favor due to who he is.
LeBron on Drummond not being penalized: "Initially I was surprised but then I thought about who he did it to and then I wasn't surprised."
