It should come as no surprise that Steve Kerr was named 2015-2016 NBA coach of the year, but I thought Stan Van Gundy's name would appear somewhere in the results. Despite a 12-win improvement from last year, SVG was nowhere to be found on the ballots of 130 sportswriters and broadcasters.
