2016 NBA Draft: Detroit Bad Boys Big Board -- Skal Labissiere, Wade Baldwin claim next two spots

The run on big men continues and Wade Baldwin finally comes off the board.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The 2016 NBA Draft is just four days away, and the Detroit Pistons have the No. 18 selection. Now you can have your say in who should make up the official Detroit Bad Boys 2016 NBA Draft Big Board.

I'm back from a work trip in Memphis, Tennessee and ready to continue the Big Board project. While Baldwin had a scorching fast start in the early voting, eventually big man Skal Libissiere came from behind and won the vote. In the end it was a battle between production vs. potential, as Baldwin had success on both ends of the floor in college. Labissiere, meanwhile, is an extremely raw product and didn't show much in college. What he does possess, however, is all the building blocks of what could be an explosive NBA player. He is seven feet tall, agile, quick and with the building blocks of a player who could devastate as both a pick-and-roll finisher and a pick-and-pop shooter.

Baldwin, meanwhile, was a prolific 3-point shooter, a willing passer and a monstrous wing span and the strength to become an elite defender. The biggest knock on Baldwin is a terrible difficulty finishing in the paint. That might be a disqualifying red flag or something that just need to be eliminated as he receives professional coaching, strength training and floor experience.

Because I missed several days and we're running out I am making the executive decision to combine the vote to fill the next two slots. That means Labissiere and Baldwin will fill slots Nos. 13 and 14 on the Big Board. Considering no other player was close in voting, I feel like we can do this without ruining the entire point of the Big Board project. It also means DBB'er NiceUnparticularMan will finally be able to vote for a new player with Baldwin officially off the board.

Remember, this is not a mock draft, and this is not only selecting from the players people presume will be available when the Pistons make their selection. We are creating a Big Board, ranking NBA Draft prospects from No. 1 on down so that on draft night we know who the best player available is for the Pistons to select.

The poll will stay open approximately 24 hours. I will put 15 names on each poll based on Chad Ford's list of top 100 prospects. That should suffice for a while, but it might get dicey later in round one when the talent base gets flatter and people are more willing to take risks. If you believe a player who should be included in an upcoming poll is missing then make it known in the comments and I will try and include them so that people can always select the person they want.

Vote now, DBB!
