No telling how reputable this rumor or hot pocket of a rumor this is, or if it's even anything at all, but a Sports Illustrated writer tweeted that the Detroit Pistons were offered the Sacramento Kings' No. 13 overall pick for No. 18 and a body. The Pistons obviously declined the offer:
Sacramento called Detroit offering to move back from No. 13 to 18 to pick up a piece, per Pistons source, but Detroit declined.

The Kings wound up selecting Georgios Papagiannis with the pick they acquired from the Phoeniz Suns. The Chicago Bulls picked Michigan State Spartan Denzel Valentine with the next pick.
Who did the Kings want from the Pistons in addition the No. 18? Who knows. Whoever it was, or whatever it was, it was too much according to Stan Van Gundy and company, and the Pistons seem content on waiting for their guy to fall to No. 18.
Now your speculative thoughts.
