The 2016 NBA draft has been weird. The Pistons' second round pick is no exception. With the No. 49 overall pick the Pistons have selected Michael Gbinije, small forward from Syracuse (who transferred from Duke).
Gbinjie is a 24-year-old who averaged 17 points per game and shot 39 percent from three last season. He's hoping to be this draft's Draymond Green, but he sees shades of Shaun Livingston in his game. The Pistons need help at backup point guard, so Gbinjie could certainly help at the point despite being a wing.
Here's what Keith Langlois has to say:
Gbinije started at Duke, transferred to Syracuse. He just turned 24. Really athletic, long, 6-7 wing who'll play defense from the get-go.

What do you think of the pick, DBB?
