Boban Marjanovic is officially signed, will be introduced on Tuesday morning

The Pistons officially announced Marjanovic as a free agent signee on Tuesday morning.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Pistons have officially plucked Boban Marjanovic from the San Antonio Spurs, signing the restricted free agent for three years, $21 million ($7 million per year). The Spurs had a chance to match, but decided not to, marking the second straight offseason the Pistons have signed a free agent away from the Spurs (they didn't extend a qualifying offer to Baynes, so he was technically a free agent). Thanks, Spurs!

Boban will meet the press on Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET according to a Pistons press release. Afterward he will take a picture with his new Pistons jersey.

Here are the deets:

WHO: Stan Van Gundy - Detroit Pistons President & Head Coach
Jeff Bower - General Manager
Boban Marjanovic

WHAT: Media Availability

WHERE: Courtside Studio - The Palace

WHEN: Tuesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. ET

Use this post as an open thread during the press conference to share your Boban hopes and dreams. I'm sure the Pistons will post a link to the presser online around the time -- they did for Ish and Jon. UPDATE: Immediately after publishing, the Pistons tweeted this.

We'll have more later.

Okay, now your thoughts.
