The article notes that Brown was a SL veteran, and he was able to work inside and make plays.
Before you get too excited, however, apparently that is in fact a largely meaningless accomplishment. This article finds almost no relationship between SL and NBA performance.
Long story short, Brown did have a very good SL for the Pistons. But that doesn't mean we should lock him in as the third PG quite yet. Fortunately, his contract gives us time to consider other options without penalty.
