Pistons to officially introduce Ish Smith and Jon Leuer on Friday

The Detroit Pistons will officially make official the free agent acquisitions of back up point guard Ish Smith and stretch forward Jon Leuer official on Friday, July 8 when they introduce them to the media and fans via press conference. While the reported deals were unofficially struck with Smith and Leuer over the last week, a moratorium on actually signing any contracts existed until July 7. Technically, both of the players could have changed their mind a la DeAndre Jordan and signed with another team, but they have honored their word and will put pen to paper and then hold up new Pistons jerseys for pictures!
