After the signings of journeyman point guard Ray McCallum Jr and former Old Dominion point guard Trey Freeman late last month, Motown has added former USC bigman Nikola Jovanovic to the team's training camp roster, pushing the number of players under contract to 18. The man himself was one of the first to break the news.

The 6-foot-11 Serbian center averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Trojans during his final collegiate season, and appeared in one game for the Pistons at the Orlando Summer League before playing two more games for the Lakers in the Las Vegas edition of the tournament. Details of the contract have not been disclosed, but Hoops Rumors' Luke Adams speculates it to be the same type of deal signed by the team's other training camp invitees -- a 1-year minimum worth $534K with little-to-no guaranteed money. Have a look at the Pistons' newest acquisition in the flesh! (H/T MLive's Aaron McMann)
