The Pistons got some news on Jon Leuer’s status, and at least it is not too serious. He will miss Tuesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings and could miss a few more games according to Keith Langlois.
Jon Leuer out tonight and might miss few. SVG says fluid on knee. Team docs will look at MRI results today.

Leuer left Sunday’s thriller against the Portland Trail Blazers after only six minutes. He went to the locker room and did not return to the bench.
Whenever a player injures their knee, fans usually expect the worst. Hopefully the MRI results turn out all right and he can get back to playing in a few days.
After signing a four year, $41 million contract in the offseason, many people thought that the Pistons overpaid for Leuer. He has proven to be worth every cent of that contract and has been one of the more consistent contributors for the Pistons this season. It is a tough loss for the Pistons, especially being in the early stages of a west coast road trip.
There has been no announcement on who will start in his place, but I would assume that it would be Tobias Harris. This could also be an opportunity for rookie Henry Ellenson to see some meaningful minutes.
SVG says @HenryEllenson13 could get a shot while Leuer recuperates

Depending on the opposing bigs, you could see some Andre Drummond-Aron Baynes in the front court as well.
