Tobias Harris was scorching hot with 34 points and Andre Drummond quieted his critics with a 15-point, 15-rebound game that saw him win a battle against Karl-Anthony Towns. Most importantly, the Pistons won handily 122-101 even after falling behind 9-0 and looking lifeless to start the game.
Detroit was helped by a relentless Ish Smith who had 13 assists and Avery Bradley who had a great all-around game with 20 points.
The Wolves couldn’t match Detroit’s energy and hovered between a 15 and 25-point deficit most of the night. Town had a quiet 23 points and 10 rebounds while Andrew Wiggins and Jeff Teague added 21 and 18 points, respectively.
