Pistons vs. Pacers preview: Reggie Jackson will play tonight, Andre Drummond still out

Avery Bradley will also sit out the game to rest a minor ankle sprain.

Reggie Jackson Health Watch 2017-18 is back on tonight, as Jackson will get the green light after sitting out the two preseason games so far with a sore groin. Adductor, technically, but you get it.

Andre Drummond (pink eye) and Avery Bradley (sprained ankle) will be out. Reggie Bullock hasn’t played yet this preseason thanks to a knee injury, but could be available tonight.

Injuries may be the theme of the preseason so far, but at least they’re all minor so far. Well, except for Jackson. He’ll be under the microscope for fans constantly until he proves himself healthy after his disastrous season last year.

Game Vitals

When: October 9, 2017 at 7 p.m. ET
Where: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI
Watch: Fox Sports Go app or Pistons.com
Listen: 1070 AM The Fan/97.1 FM The Ticket

Hey y’all, remember Damien Wilkins from the 2011-12 Pistons season? In case you were wondering what he’s up to these days, he’s 37 now and second on the Pacers in preseason minutes so far. And he’s shooting 35 percent from the field and 28 percent from three. Because that’s how a rebuilding team ought to be using their preseason minutes.

The Pacers make some unique roster decisions.

Projected Lineup

Pistons (1-1)
Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Stanley Johnson, Tobias Harris, Jon Leuer

Pacers (2-0)
Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thaddeus Young, Myles Turner

Community Question

Who will be the Pistons’ best point guard tonight, Reggie Jackson or Ish Smith?
