The Detroit Pistons unveiled a new take on their Motor City alternate uniform today as their entry in the Nike City Edition. The uniform will be worn nine times through the rest of the season with its debut set for Jan. 30 against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Little Caesars Arena.
The look combines the chrome jersey color scheme with the Motor City aesthetic of its previous alternate uniform. Previously, the Motor City alternate featured red piping and strokes around the letters as well as red numbers. This combines the deep navy with the silver chrome style.
Each team in the NBA is unveiling its Nike City Edition uniform, and, well, I’d say the Pistons at least came out unscathed. You can look at each jersey on the Nike website (just hit the downloads button to see every photo at once).
