Happy NBA trade deadline day!
At 3 p.m. EST today, the trade deadline hits and the current tornado of a rumor mill will come to an end. The Pistons have been active in discussions, as has been the case for each season under Stan Van Gundy and Jeff Bower leadership. Each season they’ve made a new, significant addition. Will that be the case again this year?
The main three names active on NBA Twitter are Reggie Jackson, Andre Drummond, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. All three have started every game they’ve been available under Stan Van Gundy, even when returning from injury or immediately after a trade in the case of Jackson. They’re three players safely considered part of the Pistons’ core.
So does that mean a potential move for a new face of the franchise? Or is something smaller in the works for an improvement in the complementary players?
