Basketball is back .... finally!

The NBA Finals have finally arrived. The Golden State Warriors look to avenge last year’s collapse against the Cleveland Cavaliers (perhaps you’ve seen 31,000 memes reference it in the past year).

The Warriors are armed with not only the NBA’s most deadly team but reinforcements in the form of Kevin Durant. The Cavaliers, meanwhile, have not only the NBA’s best player in LeBron James but also a mental edge of having bested Golden State in historic fashion.

Still ....

I just can’t see this series going past five games, much less be anything near last year’s epic showdown. Of course, I also pretty much thought the same thing last year.

Lastly, I’m pretty much an idiot that has no particular expertise about either of these teams. But I do think the Warriors are going to take this one. Easily.
