The 2017 NBA Draft is just seven days away and the Detroit Pistons have the No. 12 pick. In case the Pistons trade up, down, or stick at No. 12, the DBB Big Board is the fans’ opinion of who Detroit should select.

Remember, this isn’t just voting on players who you think will be available at No. 12, it’s voting on everyone starting at the very top.

I will list the top 10 players available based on the Draft Express Top 100 Prospects list.

Lauri Markkanen finally came off the board at No. 10, besting fan favorite Donovan Mitchell, who many Pistons fans legitimately think will be available when Detroit picks at No. 12.

Markkanen appears to be a prototypical big in the modern NBA. he is a wiry 7-footer with an advanced offensive game that stretches out to the 3-point line. He’s not a rim protector, and he’s going to get shoved around on the defensive end. However, as the NBA gets smaller and smaller that becomes less of an issue.

He’d be somewhat redundant compared to Henry Ellenson, Tobias Harris, and Jon Leuer already on the team, but he could also develop into one of the most dangerous stretch bigs in the NBA — not an easy thing to say no to.

Who do you think should be next on the Detroit Bad Boys Big Board?
