Lots of websites are putting out their final NBA Mock Draft boards. While, as with many years, there isn’t a whole lot of variation among the players in the top 15, there is a bit of variation in draft order, especially when it gets down towards where the Detroit Pistons will pick a number 12.

____
That is a TON of similarity, so much so it seems some people might just be going with consensus and switching a few around to not look like a total copycat (but that of course is cynical and completely based on zero evidence).
Speaking of consensus, if we were to go with the consensus pick from these mocks it’s overwhelmingly going to be Luke Kennard out of Duke. Out of the nine mock draft boards, Kennard was selected five times, with Donovan Mitchell and informal DBB favorite Zach Collins each getting selected on two boards a piece.
What do you think? Would you say “OH YEAH!” and go full Kool Aid for Kennard?
