2017 NBA Draft: Start time, where to watch, how to get Pistons info

Today could be a day of major changes ... or not

NBA: NBA Draft Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The 2017 NBA Draft is mere hours away and the Detroit Pistons have the No. 12 pick overall.

Detroit Bad Boys will be doing a Facebook Live aftershow after the Pistons make their slection courtesy of our own Ben Quagliata. It’s going to be 11 a.m. Friday(?) in Australia or thereabouts so he’ll either be on his best behavior or incredibly drunk from an all-nighter. Whose to say?

There are already rumors galore, including a report that the Kings, armed with two first-round lottery picks, might be interested in Andre Drummond. Crazy, right?

The Pistons seem like they’ll get a good player that fits any of their various needs, and if they trade up all the better. If they trade down, then that’s probably good too!

Time: The draft begins at 7 p.m. EST
TV: ESPN
Streaming: WatchESPN app

Last year, the No. 12 picks clocked in at around 9:18 p.m. with the Atlanta Hawks selecting Taurean Prince. For those who are planning to dip in and out.

Of course, if Detroit makes a trade, all bets are off so make sure you are following Detroit Bad Boys on Twitter as we will immediately alert you to the Pistons comings and goings.
