Very interesting.
Griffin’s athleticism and versatility would be interesting for the Pistons, but it’s hard to say if he’s enough of an upgrade over Tobias Harris to move the needle that much. Plus he just signed a massive contract over the summer that will pay him as much as $39 million in 2021-22. Griffin’s 29th birthday is right around the corner and for an injury prone player, there’s a lot of risk there.
