Pistons vs Cavs final score: Pistons snap losing streak behind Drummond and Johnson, win 125-114

Stanley Johnson set a couple of career highs and Andre Drummond played like an All Star.

The Cleveland Cavs were already reeling. When Kevin Love went to the locker room with what was later diagnosed as a broken hand, it certainly didn’t help. Love is projected to miss the next 6-8 weeks.

Still, the Pistons didn’t have an easy time with Cleveland. In a reverse of their matchup on Sunday, it was the Pistons that pulled away in the fourth quarter after the teams played it tight throughout.

It was a much needed win, coming even though the Pistons were shorthanded while waiting for their new additions to join the team.

Andre Drummond was excellent on both ends, posting an impressive 21 points, 22 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks, and 3 steals line. He had no shortage of highlights.

LeBron James: 21 points

Stanley Johnson: 26 points

It was a career high for Johnson, who was extremely aggressive throughout. He also tied his career high of 10 rebounds and had a pair of steals and a block.

Reggie Bullock and Anthony Tolliver were also great in the starting lineup, scoring 22 and 20 points respectively. Bullock matched his career high scoring output.

Cue the dancing zebras. It’s been too long.

Pistons will be back in action on Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies, hopefully with Blake Griffin in the lineup.
