Analysis

It’s just the preseason. We shouldn’t get too worked up over it. But the new offense that Dwane Casey was bringing over from his days in Toronto looks a bit like more of the same.

So far the Pistons are 22nd in offensive rating and shooting a miserable 47.6 percent true shooting percentage. As planned, they’re launching a lot of threes. But they’re missing a lot of them, shooting just 29.8 percent.

Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson made their first preseason appearance Monday night against the Nets with the expected amount of rust. Casey has said that knocking off that rust will be the focus of the final two preseason games.

Stanley Johnson missed Monday night’s game with a toe injury, but could be back tonight. Casey also said that Jon Leuer could make his preseason debut either tonight or Friday against the Cavs.

In case you missed it, Dwight Howard is dealing with an....ironic injury.

Projected Lineups

Pistons (1-2)
Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Reggie Bullock, Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond

Washington Wizards (2-1)
