Luke Kennard was on fire, starting four of four from the field and finally being aggressive in Dwane Casey’s offense. It looked as if he’d finally anchored his spot in the rotation.
Then, he ran into a screen and left the floor in a lot of pain.
THEN, we got the official word from Woj himself:
Detroit guard Luke Kennard has suffered a right shoulder sprain -- with a possible separation, league sources tell ESPN. He'll undergo an MRI on Friday.

GAH.
I am not a doctor, but some quick googling says recovery time for a sprain is anywhere from six to eight weeks, with a shoulder separation requiring more recovery time.
We’ll obviously get you more information as we learn it, but this is truly unfortunate for the Pistons. Luke being in the rotation was going to do nothing but help the Pistons succeed.
