Game Vitals

Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas

Listen: 97.1 FM The Ticket

Analysis

This is so lame. There’s cameras in that arena. It’s being filmed. Just not broadcasted. After a long summer, the league can’t be bothered to actually televise the Pistons first two preseason games. We’ll keep you posted if either team posts a stream for the game - or I’m sure our community will in the comments (though only link official/legal streams below, thanks).

Anyways, the Pistons let it fly from three in their first preseason game. It’ll be worth tracking if they keep launching with the same volume - and if they can generate a few more makes.

After not playing in the preseason opener, no word yet on the availability of Blake Griffin or Reggie Jackson - though Dwayne Casey has said one of the biggest priorities of the preseason will be to keep those two healthy.

Projected Lineups

Pistons (1-0)
Reggie Jackson, Reggie Bullock, Stanley Johnson, Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond

Spurs (1-0)
Dejounte Murray, DeMar DeRozan, Rudy Gay, LaMarcus Aldridge, Pau Gasol

Prediction

104, 100 Pistons

Community Question

The year is 2050. Technology makes it so that everyone has a constant feed of everything readily available. The league still is going to inexplicably not broadcast early Pistons preseason games, aren’t they?
