Pistons vs. Thunder final score: Pistons dominated by Thunder 110-83

It was one of those games where you burn the film.

“In the NBA, sometimes you get got” — those words came from Greg Anthony on the NBA TV Players Only broadcast tonight during the Oklahoma City Thunder rout of the Detroit Pistons, 110-83.

The Pistons were down 10 at halftime, but then the third quarter happened. It was a disaster as the Thunder put up 37 compared to Detroit’s 19. The Thunder length, speed and smarts was alarming.

Simply, the Thunder defense was too much for the Pistons all night.

A few thoughts

Glenn Robinson III is really struggling right now, and that’s being nice about it. Glenn isn’t giving the team very much. This game was especially ugly — Glenn just doesn’t look comfortable.

Hopefully Reggie Bullock isn’t out too long with his tweaked ankle he suffered in the first. The spacing tonight was horrendous, but credit the Thunder for knowing Detroit’s personnel and packing it in. Detroit was just extra terrible though, going 6-of-32 from downtown. That’s 18.8% percent.

Pistons will be back at it on Wednesday on the road against the 15-7 Milwaukee Bucks, who are coming off a wild loss against the Knicks a few days ago.

Time for bed.
