It’s been quite the week for Andre Drummond.
He went from missing the 2018 NBA All Star Game to watching his team fall to their seventh straight loss to the surprise Blake Griffin trade to making the All Star team after all to winning three straight games and now Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
It’s always something when your week starts bad and turns around like:

Drummond had a pair of 20 point, 20 rebound performances last week, giving him three over the past six games. Over the past week he has averaged 19 points per game on 64 percent shooting, 19 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.3 steals, and 2.7 blocks.

Certainly a well-deserved Player of the Week award. It’s only Drummond’s third time earning the honor, previously being named Player of the week in consecutive weeks back in early November 2015.
