The Detroit Pistons traded a first-round pick (sniff), Avery Bradley (phew), Tobias Harris (sniff, sniff) and Boban Marjanovic (sniff, sniff, sniff) for Blake Griffin (tbd), therefore, they do not have much riding on tonight’s NBA Draft. They have one pick, No. 42 overall, but it’s going to be a quiet night in Pistons-land.
That doesn’t mean it’s going to be a quiet night in the NBA, though. Luka Doncic could be the best player in the draft and might also fall out of the top 5. Several teams are looking to trade up for a chance at Doncic and/or Mo Bamba. The Grizzlies are a shitshow looking to unload Chandler Parsons. The Celtics could move up, because the world is a horrible place.
