Evans filled the role of a scoring point guard for Texas Tech, leading them to a Sweet Sixteen appearance this past season. He posted some impressive numbers in his senior season, 17.6 points per game on 60 percent true shooting percentage along with three assists and rebounds per game. His .234 win shares per 40 minutes was the best in the Big 12 conference, ahead of names like Trae Young, Mo Bamba, and Jevon Carter.
