Pregame Reading
DBB’s own Martin Mansour has a provocatively-titled piece up on Andre Drummond’s early-season play defensively.
Whenever Dwane Casey goes back to Toronto, we have to reminisce about his time there. Rod Beard of the Detroit News had an amazing quote from Casey in his piece:
It irks me when I read the narrative that Dwane is salty. I can’t say anything right. If I say we got better every year, he’s salty. We developed those guys, he’s salty. Dwane Casey is not salty at all. I’m happy for everybody here and for the organization... There’s no saltiness, no pepper, no hot sauce, anything whatsoever.
No seasoning at ALL, Dwane? Not what I would’ve expected from a Kentucky guy.
Lastly, Duncan Smith of Forbes had a great piece on the good and bad of the Pistons’ offense through the first four games. Did YOU know the Pistons were a top-5 True Shooting Percentage team in the league prior to tonight’s game? I sure didn’t.
Let’s get this win, y’all.
