HEY! Actual Detroit Pistons basketball! Imagine that! It’ll be fun for five minutes, and then the bench guys will play 30 minutes and we’ll be reminded that all basketball ain’t good basketball.
Game Vitals:
When: October 7, 2019, 7 p.m. EST
Where: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, MI
Watch: Fox Sports Detroit
Analysis:
We’ve put out a bunch of player tune-ups - can’t miss ‘em. First thing staring you in the face on the homepage is a compiled list of all of them.
Additionally, we’ve got three different podcasts released in the last week up on the site, all containing valuable insight into the joys and ails of your Detroit Pistons.
The Pistons’ brand-new practice facility had it’s grand reveal today, as well:

I think the players will just be happy to not have to drive all the way to Auburn Hills anymore (no offense to the good people of Auburn Hills, but practices there and games downtown seems like a HIKE).
Last but not least:
FYI on LCA statutes: Source says there are plans for an Isiah Thomas statue at downtown arena. Home opener will mark third season downtown.

Very nice. It was perpetually odd to go to Pistons games and be greeted by a massive statue of Ted Lindsay, who I am told was quite good at hockey. Make the Isiah Thomas statue, get the statue of Ben Wallace shellacking some guy at the rim in there, and then the Sekou Doumbouya statue, and we should be all set.
Enjoy the game, everyone.
