Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Detroit Bad Boys

Have a terrific Pistons-less Christmas day

The Detroit Pistons have many fans feeling like an absolute Grinch, but it’s important to remember that there are FAR more important things than dumb old basketball.

Including, this timeless Rasheed Wallace-led Jingle Bells with Amir Johnson, Jason Maxiell and Will Blalock.

There are friends, family, health and happiness. Sometimes we feel like we have an abundance of all of those things, and sometimes we feel like they are in short supply. So my advice is be grateful for what you have, never take for granted the imperfections that make life not only interesting but simply worth living. And be mindful of those who are out there struggling more than you realize. They are putting on a brave face, but every bit of kindness and generosity is always appreciated.

Be good to each other. If you celebrate Christmas then have a merry Christmas. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, then celebrate today, and I hope it is amazing for you and those in your life.

I’m thankful for it all — this community most especially. And even this dumb, maddening, depressing, frustrating, amazing team.
