The Detroit Pistons dropped game one of a six-game West Coast swing, and look to right the ship against Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. Unfortunately, the small glimmer of a victory fades even more once you take a look at the injury report. Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard and Khyri Thomas are out, of course, but joining him are Markieff Morris and the gimpy Blake Griffin is listed as doubtful. Considering the general state of Griffin’s health then I would consider it pretty likely he is going to miss the game. That means all the power forward minutes will be manned by Christian Wood and Thon Maker.
