It’s NBA Trade Deadline day, and all appears to be quiet on the Pistons front - for now. The Pistons have already made two trades:
Reggie Bullock for Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk and a 2021 second-round pick
Stanley Johnson for Thon Maker
So, it’s not as if the Pistons stood pat exactly at the deadline. As for big move / loyal Mike Conley believers, it doesn’t look good:
As of now, I would be quite surprised if Mike Conley is traded. Don't get the impression Grizzlies are pushing heavily to do so, feels like putting your house on the market at an inflated price. If you get it, great, but you're probably not really *expecting* to get it.

Details on Pistons-Grizzlies talks in here as well. Full of nuggets.

Detroit Pistons decide Reggie Bullock has more value as trade chip https://t.co/KKgBihMrF3 via @freep
I’m sure the wisdom of such a move (or lack thereof) will be discussed civilly in the comments below, as it has been for the last three weeks, seemingly.
(I’m not throwing shade at y’all, I more just want the Pistons to poop or get off the pot.)
But it’s deadline day, the Pistons have an expiring contract in Ish Smith and pseudo-expiring contract in Glenn Robinson III, and still not as many second-round picks as you would like. Anything is possible, and if anything happens, we’ll get it up for you all.
This is going to be fun.
