Late starts and extra days off give Griffin time to recover from knee injury

The Detroit Pistons released the playoff schedule for the team’s second post-season appearance of the past 11 years. The Piston don’t have much of a chance against the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, but for them to even have the tiniest sliver of hope a healthy Blake Griffin is a must.

Well, the schedule is doing as much to help the Pistons out as possible. Detroit doesn’t get started until Sunday night and only plays three games until April 22.

  • Game 1: @Milwaukee, Sunday, April 14, 7 p.m. (TNT)
  • Game 2: @Milwaukee, Wednesday, April 17, 8 p.m. (NBATV)
