Memphis Is Shopping Andre Iguodala's Contract, Should Detroit Trade For Him?

SPORTS_171029635_AR_0_AKVBXTOQEJYK.0.jpgIt has been reported the Memphis Grizzlies are shopping Andre Iguodala's expiring $17.1 million contract.

According to tradenba.com, the math works for trading Maker, Galloway, and two developmental prospects (Bruce, Thomas, Svi, etc.).

Tony Snell is a much more viable option compared to Ennis, Johnson, Robinson, Butler, Prince, and Singler who Detroit has played at that position but he has averaged 21.8 mpg for his career.

In my opinion, the goal for this team should be frisky 4/5 seed in the playoffs while developing young talent. Sekou is the youngest player in the draft and a virtual unknown as a contributor. Same logic applies to Svi.

Detroit could use one more wing to help solidify depth behind Snell. This is why I was in favor of the full MLE on Marcus Morris since he can play/start at the 3/4.

One could argue the moves to add two PGs in Rose and Frazier and a 4/5 in Markieff added more depth overall and was the wiser path.

Other options could include swapping Jackson and Maker for Iguodala and Delon Wright. Wright is currently a restricted free agent so this deal would have to wait until mid-December.

Do you think Detroit should trade for Iguodala or is there another target you have in mind?
