Recently, ESPN had a survey asking NBA General Managers to vote on who had the worst offseason. Their answer? The Detroit Pistons.
So when the Detroit Pistons released Dzanan Musa — also known as the player new GM Troy Weaver traded fan favorite Bruce Brown for — it was the last straw for fans and followers of the team. The release of the 16th man on the roster caused Pistons fans, #PistonsTwitter specifically, to lose their minds.
One of the things that have been echoed among those who don’t like this offseason is that they don’t know what exactly Detroit is doing and what their plan is. In this video, I’m going to tell you why I’m in the minority that are fine with the Pistons offseason.
I see the vision with what Troy Weaver is trying to build, and hopefully the video helps other see the vision too. Hopefully fans see it quickly - the Detroit Pistons will start their season in a few short days against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
