DBB Podcast: Buyout Week

Ben and Laz talk about the week in Detroit basketball

DBB podcast

Hey everyone. This is Laz Jackson of Detroit Bad Boys, and on this week’s podcast, we’re talking about your 19-39 Detroit Pistons. Ben Gulker returns, and we talk about Buyout Week, the Pistons bringing up Donta Hall on a 10-Day contract, and what shifting Bruce Brown to shooting guard means as Khyri Thomas scores 27 points in his G-League season debut.

The Pistons are all but telegraphing that they want to take a point guard at the top of this year’s draft, which jibes with what I want, but I’m not sure is the correct strategic decision to make this early. The season hasn’t even ended yet! This time last year, were they expecting Sekou Doumbouya to fall to them outside of the lottery? Of course not! Just prepare for all eventualities.

As always, we appreciate your continued support of the podcast, and the best way to do that is to share, subscribe, and leave comments - please leave comments on this discussion post, that’s the best way for us to have the conversation we want to have around the podcast.

Thanks for listening, y’all. Enjoy the podcast:
