In the first game of the post Andre Drummond era, the Detroit Pistons dropped a close one to the Thunder 108-101.
It was a terrific showing for Christian Wood, who inherited Drummond's starting center spot. Wood scored 27 points to go with 12 rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers.
The problem for Detroit was not an unfamiliar one - they couldn't get any stops.
Five Thunder players had at least 16 points and four of those players shot better than 50% from the floor.
The Thunder shot 51% from the floor and hit 25 of 30 free throws.
Reggie Jackson, who is the subject of buyout rumors with the Clippers apparently interested, had a game-high 28 points.
