NBA streaming Pistons vs. Spurs game 7 of NBA Finals tonight at 8 p.m. on Twitter

The NBA season is on an indefinite pause and the league is scrambling to deliver for fans thirsty for more basketball. While a bitter, ironic twist of the knife for Pistons fans, the NBA has decided to feature the Detroit Pistons in a classic game — the 2005 NBA finals game 7 between the Pistons and Spurs.

Yeah, that one.

Look, the universe is asking me to make some snarky joke and make light of the situation we are all in. I’m not going to do it. Coronavirus and COVID-19 is deadly serious.

But to choose this game of all games in an effort to bring fans together. Maaaaaan, you’re asking a lot.
