The Detroit Pistons sit at 20-44 and hold the sixth worst record in the NBA. They face the New York Knicks. Owner of a 19-44 record and the fourth worst record in the NBA. And one angry Oscar-nominated director. The Pistons don’t have that issue, at least that I know of.
Detroit plays the Knicks twice — tonight’s tilt, on the second end of a back-to-back, no less — and a season-ending game also in New York.
I’m not sure if you call this one a must-win or a must-lose. We’ll go with a must-play and leave it at that.
