A world desperate for sports has led to the NBA and ESPN teaming up to broadcast a tournament of HORSE. That game you played in your driveway where you had to go shot-for-shot with a competitor and if you didn’t match them you notched a letter. First one to spell out HORSE loses.
It’s possible only because it can be done via appropriate social distancing. In fact, the people facing each other will be in different states as each competitor plays on their “home” court wherever that might be.
Pistons legend Chauncey Billups is participating and going up against Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks. Billups is going to be at a major disadvantage as he’s shooting outdoors from his Colorado home where wind and weather will almost certainly be a factor.
