The Detroit Pistons, famous for lack of overall skill and point guard depth for much of the past decade, is once again staring at an immediate future with lack of skill and depth at the PG position. Killian Hayes is hurt and might not come back this season. Derrick Rose was traded. Delon Wright, who has been extremely good of late, is now hampered by a groin issue. That means a whole lot of Dennis Smith Jr. and, as a silver lining, at least a little bit of a look at Saben Lee and maybe even Frank Jackson. How can this already bad team perform without any functional point guard play? Unfortunately, we might be about to find out.
