Fresh off of being named NBA All-Rookie selections, Detroit Pistons Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart were two of the 17 players named to the 2021 USA Basketball Select Team, USA Basketball announced.

The team will train with fellow Piston Jerami Grant and the rest of the Men’s National Team as it prepares to compete in the Olympics. The team will be coached by Miami Heat’s Erik Spoelstra with assistance from Gonzaga’s Mark Few and Mavericks assistant Jamahl Mosley.

The Pistons join the Hornets, Timberwolves and Knicks with multiple players on the Select Team roster. In total, the roster features six members of the All-Rookie first and second teams: Bey, Stewart, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Immanuel Quickley and Patrick Williams.

The remaining players have USA Basketball experience including World Cup, AmeriCup and the youth basketball circuit.
