The Detroit Pistons were absolutely smacked by the Toronto Raptors 142-113 on Sunday afternoon, and the final score might not even be indicative of just how overmatched Detroit was. The Raptors, it should be noted, with a worse offensive rating than the offensively starved Pistons. That was no match for Detroit’s lack of defense or ability to compete, as the Raps notched a season-high in points and amassed 44(!) assists. The Pistons don’t get much time to lick their wounds. They play a little over 24 hour later and against the defending champion Denver Nuggets who happen to sport the league’s fifth best offense.
The Pistons will at least welcome another player back from the injured list as Detroit forward Isaiah Livers is looking to make his season debut tonight.
