Let’s win one, please. PLEASE

I’m not really in the prediction business. I’m certainly in no place to predict the Detroit Pistons will beat the Indiana Pacers. Certainly not when the Pistons are still in the midst of a 19-game losing streak. Nobody has any business saying the Pistons are going to win any games. Not because they are going to go winless the rest of the season. That’s not happening. But the Pistons being underdogs in every game for the rest of the season is certainly more likely than not.

All that being said, let me share with you a little prediction I’ve cooked up. I think James Wiseman is going to score more than 20 points tonight. That’s a feat he’s only accomplished five times in his career, including three times with the Pistons. Will that help the Pistons win the game? Well, I didn’t say he was going to have a positive plus-minus, did I?

But at least the Detroit Pistons are moving Isaiah Stewart to center and putting Ausar back in the starting lineup. At this point, I’ll take what I can get.
