Good Luck Saddiq

I really liked the firebrand aggressive play I often saw from Saddiq Bey, unfortunately he wasn't always as consistent as I wish he could have been. Still, I think he's a very good player, but with Bogdanovic and likely another SF coming to Detroit after the draft he probably didn't have a very firm or definite role on the team in 23-24.

Obtaining James Wiseman, who is just turning 22, position wise might make some sense until you think longer term what the team really needs. Then, the addition becomes puzzling.

I keep hoping that we will get VW in the draft. So then why would we need Wiseman? Besides we have Jalen Duren already as a developmental center with good potential.

I suppose Troy Weaver figures we can never have enough big men, but this is a boring move to me. So I'm sorry to see Bey go. As I said, he brought some aggressiveness to the team and in that way complimented Isaiah Stewart. You need guys like that either as starters or reserves.

I wonder what Dwane Casey has to say about this deal. Is he still alive? It seems like he's awfully quiet lately. What or where is Casey? Are you still around, or going away?
