The Pistons, fresh off a loss to the 4th worst team in the league, face the league's finest.

Game Vitals

Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA

When: Wednesday, March 11, 2015, 10:30PM EST

Watch: FSD

Exceptionally Detailed Analysis

D'Angelo Russell anyone?

The Pistons are now officially the saddest team in the league again. Not because of their losing streak, but because all the moves they made went for mind-boggling, soul-crushing failure. The Pistons started 5-23 and were the laughing stock of the league, because, not only were they bad, they were consistently losing to other bad teams. Then came the majestic PSE and the Pistons had recovered up to the trade deadline and sat at a respectable, given the start, 21-33. Now? Well, the playoffs are disappearing faster than a hot pocket in a college dorm room, as the Pistons have gone 1-7 with Reggie Jackson and now sit at a decrepit 23-40. Next opponent, oh just the 50-12 Golden State Warriors and their All-Star backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Interestingly enough, Klay was available when Detroit picked in 2011, but we all know where that pick went, so I won't cause anymore sadness and bring up Brandon Knight...oops.

In the name of all things holy I will not even refer to last night's absolute humiliation at the hands of the Lakers...oops again.

Instead, I will focus on the positive reasons to watch this game:

DETROIT RELATED REASONS

-- Spencer Dinwiddie, Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond (if he decides to play angry again)

OTHER REASONS

-- Golden State Warriors are pretty fun

-- They have quite possibly the best offense in the league, ranking first in points per game, FG%, 3P%, and assists per game

-- Their defense is also amazing, ranking first in blocks per game and opponent FG%, as well as 3rd in opponent 3P% and 4th in steals, despite only actually ranking 14th in points allowed per game

-- Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry average a combined 45.5 points per game

-- For jump shooters, the Splash Brothers are crazy efficient. Curry shoots 48.5% from the field and 42% from deep, while Thompson shoots 46% from the field and 43% from three

-- Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut are all on my fantasy team

-- Draymond Green is from Michigan, so if at any point the game becomes too depressing feel free to become a bandwagon asscat

TRIVIA TIME!!! I know it's the only part of the games you look forward to now. David Lee has missed 24 games for the Warriors this season. What is their record without him? Answer as always after the community question.

Last Time We Met

Nov. 30, 2014, Warriors won by a lot of points to not as many points (GS leads season series 1-0)

In this late fall matchup, the Warriors defeated the Pistons by 11. Um, KCP scored 23, $WAG added 22, and Voldemort had a double double with 14 and 12 assists. Prom King Draymond Green had 20 for the Warriors.

Players To Watch

Pistons: Quincy Miller

He appears to enjoy celebrating on the bench, so if you need some uplifting, glance at him once in a while.

Warriors: Stephen Curry/Draymond Green

Garrett thought Gigi could shoot during warmups. Well, the Human Torch does it IN GAMES!!!

Did you know Green is from Michigan?

Connections
